Ae'o is one of the newest planned high rises by the Howards Hughes Corporation and has been commonly referred to as the "Whole Foods Tower" for the, 50,000 sf Hawaii flagship Whole Foods Market that will occupy the base of the tower, along with an additional 12,000 sf of retail space. It will also be located adjacent to the Ward 16 Movie Theater.

Common Areas & Amenities
For amenities - I'm excited to see that the building will offer a roof deck terrace as one of the amenities so that all of the residents will be able to experience the best views the building has to offer. It has probably been about 30 years or so since the last high rise condominium in Honolulu has been built with a rooftop amenity like this. AE'O will also offer a large recreation deck on top of the parking structure with an impressive assortment of amenities.
For the active lifestyle there is a dedicated lap pool, indoor gym with ocean views as well as outdoor workout spaces. After their workout residents can use the sauna and steam room or make arrangements for a massage in the spa treatment room. There is also surfboard and bicycle storage as well as a dog-run area.
For entertaining a lounge pool, covered dining cabanas, private dining room with caterer's kitchen, children's play area, private movie theater and a lounge room for events and parties.
Private Condo Features
AE'O will be seeking to achieve LEED certification to help ensure it is environmentally and energy friendly which should translate to long term savings for owners in terms of electricity and maintenance fee costs. Kitchens and living areas will have hardwood flooring while the bedrooms will be carpet. AE'O is also one of the few new developments offering customization options.
