Built in 1971, Harbor Square is a 26 story tall Condo/office development. There are two condo towers, the Town Tower and the Harbor Tower, containing a total of 360 residential units. There are six floors of office space below the towers on Queen Street. The development takes up an entire city block. The site is directly across from Honolulu Harbor to the south and borders state and federal property to the east. Within short walking distance are Alakea street restaurants, the Iolani Palace and Aloha Tower Marketplace. Common Areas for Residents The Harbor Tower (units 01-09) features a large and tall lobby with waiting area, mail room and resident manager’s office. The Town Tower has a smaller lobby with mail room. Both lobbies have landscaped entries with seating areas and are secured with enterphone, security cameras, and guard station. The amenities are located the 7th floor, above the parking structure. This large and popular recreation deck has ocean views and includes a swimming pool and barbeque areas. Parking is not included with Town Tower (A-H) condos. Expensive monthly parking stall rental is available onsite. There are no guest parking stalls available, but parking can be rented by the hour onsite and there are a few metered spots on Richards St. Fortunately, all Harbor Tower condos (ending 01-09) all have at least 1 parking stall included with a condo. The Harbor Tower (01-10) units are generally larger and more spacious. Harbor Tower ocean side units on higher floors have clear views of the ocean. And importantly, only Harbor Tower units have hookups for Washer and Dryer. Town Tower residents have only the community laundry facility located in the Town Tower. Condo units in both towers have lanais, floor to ceiling glass windows and Central A/C.
