Most units enjoy an view of Honolulu city and the ocean beyond. Located in a quiet neighborhood with mostly single family homes, Mott-Smith is a local favorite. Good location for a walking, biking or hiking in the nearby Tantalus trails. Common Areas for Residents There is a large, amenities rich, lobby level recreation deck. Small children can splash and play in the good sized kiddie pool with a fountain on one side of the recreation deck while the adults can enjoy the pool and hot tub on the other. Each unit has generous lanai area with hurricane shutters to help block out the elements as needed. The shutters make the lanais more livable and many will use the lanai as an office or dining area. The AC is central and I like how many of the 2 bedroom units will have multiple AC zones to help reduce electricity costs by cooling only the rooms that need to be cooled It is an older building, so if a unit has not been renovated it will probably need it.
