Private Condo Features
The typical floor layout features nine units per floor with a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom units. Kitchens offer high-end stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and hardwood floors.  Laundry in each unit consists of a full-size stack washer/dryer. Insulated, low-thermal emissivity windows help reduce the need to use A/C while the two and three-bedroom units offer dual-zoned A/C controls. Due to the proximity of its neighbors, Waihonua does not get too much direct sunlight, further reducing the need run A/C, and thus increasing the energy efficiency of the units. A central hot water heating system for the building saves the need for in-unit water heaters, which help increase usable square footage and reduces maintenance and electricity costs. Potential Drawbacks

While the building has some very good views, the quality of the ocean views largely depend on a particular units ability to take advantage of the view channels between Waihonua 's five close-proximity high-rise neighbors. It’s worth noting, however, that the mountain views on the rear side of the building are excellent, especially from the higher floors and the neighboring buildings will provide shade, keeping units cooler and reducing the need for AC.
